Your PortaPack has a SD card slot, which storing your:
|
||||
|
||||
* Personal files (/USR/ folder)
|
||||
|
||||
* Capture files
|
||||
* Images
|
||||
* Audio
|
||||
* Playlists
|
||||
* Custom requency lists
|
||||
* etc...
|
||||
* System necessary files (/SYS and /FIRMWARE AND /APPS folders)
|
||||
|
||||
* Maps
|
||||
* Official requency lists
|
||||
* Official demo files: Audio, Images etc
|
||||
* External apps
|
||||
* Firmware upgrading packages
|
||||
* etc...
|
||||
|
||||
In your fileman and freqman apps, the will sort/combile your files/listes together, you don't need to merge them yourself.
|

# Updating SD Card
|
||||
|
||||
Since all of your personal files were storge in /USR folder, it's safe to delete the /SYS folder, if you already prepared a new sdcard package from our release.
|
||||
|
||||
The best update way would be:
|
||||
|
||||
1. Delete /SYS folder.
|
||||
2. Put new /SYS folder into your sdcard.
|
||||
3. Update your firmware if you hadn't do it.
|
||||
4. Done. All of your personal files are safe.
